Thank you for doing this review. I, too, have been using the theradome. Just finished treatment number 9. I am optimistic that this will help with my shedding / thinning. I am a 44 year old female that started losing a lot of hair suddenly about a year ago (not good when you already have baby fine, thin hair)....think it was either due to medication or stress...or possibly heredity. My mom has thin hair and my dad is bald. My shedding has yet to slow down. I will check in periodically to see your progress. Good luck.

Thanks Bav. It sounds as though Heredity would play a role in your hair loss. Both of my parents have full heads of hair, so not sure the exact source of my MPB genes. Are you doing 2 treatments per week? If so you should expect to see some slowing of shedding after approx 2 months of treatments (per the Theradome website). Be sure to take pictures to monitor your progress. Best of luck.

I'm so excited that you started this blog. I'm waiting for my Theradome to arrive on Thursday. I'm a 48 yr old female with diffuse loss all over especially at the nape and behind my ears although my top has always stayed the thickest. Wierd. I'm on natural thyroid replacement but haven't stopped shedding. Many people on hairloss forums do not believe in laser therapy but I attribute the retention of my hair initially to the treatments I received at a local clinic. I had a years worth of treatments using the Revage 673. Although my hair continued to shed during the treatment, I kept alot of hair. It wasn't until I couldn't afford to continue the treatments that my hairloss escalated. I actually feel that your hair is thicker but in reality it's still too early to really see a difference. I will definitely keep track of my progress and report my results.

Thanks Karen. It is interesting that you have experience with a clinical laser. The clinic websites never show those who didn't have success. The forums are typically filled with users who for whatever reason are negative towards lasers. I *hope* this website is able to change those perceptions :) Best of luck !

I would agree your hair looks fuller. But not by a significant amount(or at least compared to the expected end result). I think reduced hair loss is a great sign of good things to come. Thanks for taking time to do this blog. I purchased a theradome recently, and will start the treatments towards the end of this month. I plan to keep a blog like yours.

Hi. I'm so glad I found this blog. It's good to share and compare. I'm 65 and just finished #23. Started off 2x a week but recently bumped it up to 3x.

Thanks the post Alice , I enjoyed reading about your experience with hair loss & growth. Funny thing is I have also noticed random forehead hairs. I guess they didn't specify where we would find these new , thicker hairs...haha! I know it is difficult to go through the hair checklist and say if those changes have happened. It would be easy to fall victim to the placebo effect if over analyzing items like luster , body and more manageable. Keep us updated on your progress!

This is fun. We're all going through this lab experiment together. I was hoping Theradome would have an area where we users could share, but if we have nothing nice to say, that would chase new customers away.

Hi Alice. Was reviewing your comments. It's a little disconcerting to read that you have 23 treatments under your belt and you are still not seeing a decrease in shedding. I know everyone is different, but I bought the theradome mainly with the hope that it will stop my diffuse, overall shedding. I only have 11 treatments under my belt and obviously have not seen any change yet....I, too, am still shedding quite a bit. I hate to use the word desperate, but I'm just about there...I pray that the shedding will stop soon for me.

Hi Bav. I still have hope that my hair loss will taper off. Everyone's situation is different so your experience might be different as well. I do have new, fine hair at my temples so I have hope.

From what I read the app might only be a timer / treatment tracker.

Most of those items are fairly subjective and probably not capable of proving without a lab analysis of the hair.
