Nothing new here but still worthy of a mention. A Businessweek article implying that the Theradome is a cure for baldness should generate some sales and new Theradome users.

Theradome is nothing but a big joke, I will be contacting them to return this toy of mine very soon. I honestly feel the recent commenters on this blog coming with all this positive feedback are nothing but employees of theradome, seriously as much as it sucks to believe , as of today there is nothing out there that has even been proven to regrow hair but the "big 3" minoxidil, finasteride and nizoral. Even with those products you'd be lucky if u get minimal hair regrowth, not just that as a woman finasteride is not even an option! I feel like I been fooled once again into thinking something like this laser crap would do anything for me, shame on them for taking peoples hard earned money like it's nothing.

I'm pretty sure the key thing here is patients. Maybe if you would stop stressing out it could work for you as well (maybe)

Laser therapy works. I am not an employee of Theradome. You have to have patience. I've been doing laser therapy for over a year and each month is better than the last. It takes time and not necessarily the amount of time Theradome claims on their website. There are people online who saw major regrowth after 2 years, but a company won't give a guarantee for that long unfortunately. I only saw darkening of my hair around 4 months with less hair fall. I didn't grow all my hair back at that point.

Well the good news is that a lot of people who read that Bloomberg article have found their way here. The blog has already received more views this morning than it usually does for an entire day.

I got my digital microscope on Amazon for like $35. You can look there as well.

You plug it in your USB on your laptop. You can then scan your scalp and zoom/focus in and take snap shots.

It is very cool to see all those hairs there isn't it? Very encouraging. To everyone you are balding or have no hair in those spots which isn't true at all. I once read online that as long as there is at least a vellus hair, the follicle is still there, but just damaged and dormant. Lasers can bring them back over time. It's seems the smallest hairs, the ones lost first will be the last ones to return. When you lose hair during balding, a thinner hair grows then falls out and then yet another thinner hair until all that's left is a vellus hair or no hair. Lasers grow a thin hair then it sheds then a thicker and then it sheds until terminal healthy hairs reappear to the point you may have multiple hairs coming out of one follicle. Thus reversing the process. No instant satisfaction here. Again, it is a slow process just like losing it was. If you read testimonials on worldhairloss or regrowth I believe, you will see some people it took 2-5 years to get most of their hair back. Patience is key. 17 months for me and I am still not yet where I want to be. However, every month is better than the last. I was told it is best to look at your progress on a quarterly basis. Although I check everyday lol. Bad habit.
