The majority of those who I have kept in touch with since the beginning are in a similar situation. A few think their hair has worsened, a few others think they may see some improvement and the rest see no notable change. In my opinion none have experienced anything to the scale of what Theradome claims on Theradome.com
Recently I have noticed a bit of shedding in the front. Looking in the mirror the front appears thinner than prior to starting the Theradome treatments. Not sure if that is true, but it certainly appears that way. It's safe to say it's not a good sign when after 37 weeks of LLLT (Theradome usage) there is debate on if the hair looks worse than before. I have decided to scale back my use of the Theradome to two treatments per week.

Greg makes some very good points. I too believe that most people who have achieved significant results are most likely off trying to get back lost time. Another reason that seems likely to me is the tendency for positive posters to be outcast and assumed to be product pushers unless they provide some kind of proof. But then even when proof is presented, many remain skeptical. For example with Dr. Hamid's before/after pictures, many were saying it wasn't the same person in the pictures. I understand that the internet in many ways has made distrust necessary but the product of that is that positive posters in many forums are punished for trying to share their experience. It's a sad thing. That being said, I would like to share my own positive experience.

Thanks for the comment. I believe there is some truth to laser energy not absorbing as well in people with lighter hair. Somebody shared a link in the comment section of a guy who has a similar hair color as mine and appears to be doing well with the Theradome helmet. Plenty of others with dark hair aren't seeing much improvement.

Thanks Greg. I understand that there may be people in this world who have filled in their hairline via the Theradome helmet and will never venture onto the internet to share their photos. It is possible. Many of the emails I receive are from people who are satisfied with their Theradome experience. The majority of these feel their hair is more manageable or thicker. A few others include photos that point to areas of the scalp that may contain a couple of new hairs. After a few minutes analyzing the photos I can sometimes agree that a hair appears new or that their hair has a fuller look. Other than maybe improving self confidence these results do little to help the user. I think men want to change their appearance and not look like a guy with MPB. Because of that I think most men would be disappointed with their Theradome results.

I'm sorry but this blog is becoming too much of a big deal then it is. Now you already have certain people harrasing you and others debating. Ask yourself if this is really worth putting time into..

aside from my hair i recently began trying to improve my overall appearance to help build self confidence and counter some of the obvious effects of aging(im almost 40)... my weight has been a primary concern as i have about 15-20 lbs i feel i need to lose in order to reach my ideal weight.
