Your hair Is looking quite luscious And healthier
Thanks for the update. I, too, have decreased my usage. My shedding is at the point of being VERY concerning. I dropped down from 4 treatments a week down to the recommended 2 treatments per week. I just completed treatment 41 and I have been using it for 13 weeks. Everyday I hope to see something positive happening, so it was very upsetting to read that they have significantly increased the timeframe of seeing results from what was originally posted.....Ugh......
I TOTALLY agree with Ariff. There is absolutely something going on with your hair. It looks darker and more dense. And this is with the Theradome alone. Looking forward to more progress. My shedding increased upon started the treatment but has slowed down tremendously. I went from daily use to every other day.
from my own experience I would recommend to take it slow - I also used the helmet for about 13 weeks now and I used it almost everyday - so far I have only lost hair not regrown any - so I'll decrease my usage again and hope to get any results
it is still very strange to me that Theradome is ignoring that quite some people are experiencing initial shedding
Since Theradome says that their ceo began to see improvement after 9 months, I willing to continue my treatment until then. I have not seen any improvement in the last 3- 4 months period.
Hopefully by then some stem cell researchers have a better solution..
Hello I to think I see improvements in the video
I am still using only twice a week after trying for a while every other day
seem to see thicker hair and the follicle holes are much more prominent I am on treatment 28
I think your hair definitely looks thicker. Hair is so tricky to gauge. Are we getting new hair or just replacing hair that has been shed? How can we tell? If it's parted differently or combed in even a slighty different direction, it can look completely different.
My hair is about 99% white. I am seeing some fine hair coming in along the hairline and surprisingly at least 50% of it is dark brown.
When I part my hair in difference places, I have a lot of new hairs on my head -- mainly white -- that are maybe slightly less than 1/2" long and standing up straight. Is that new hair? Or is it just replacing the hair I'm shedding? Who knows? I'm still losing a lot of hair but I don't think the hair loss has increased -- it seems to be about the same.
I'm not surprised that Therdome has changed their website info. I thought the original schedule was pretty unrealistic. Hair grows slowly, and I'm sure it takes a while to wake up our dormant follicles. It doesn't happen overnight with the first treatment.
Since hair grows maybe 1/2" a month, it'll be many more months before these new hairs -- if that's indeed what they are -- blend in with the rest of my hair to give me a true thicker head of hair.
Onward . . . .
Thanks Alice. You are correct about hair being tricky to gauge. That is part of the reason why I opted to make the hair videos. Often I will upload a photo and then realize it is either overly flattering or makes my hair look worse than usual.
That is exciting about your new hairs. I suppose only time will tell if they will mature into something cosmetically beneficial.
Best of luck!
I'm somewhat surprised that Theradome doesn't keep in touch with us. Maybe having us fill out a questionnaire about what we've experienced to date. To see if their product is working for us. Or do they not care? Perhaps the 6 month mark would be a good time to get some feedback from us. Or maybe they realize that it takes that full year to really realize the difference, if any. I've had my Theradomem for 4 1/2 months now and I'm just kind of surprised that there's been no contact.
I don't know if it's in the FAQ but when I emailed Theradome to ask a question before I received mine, whoever responded told me while I was waiting, I should start shampooing one day with Nizoral and then the next time I wash my hair, I should wash it with T/Sal followed by T/Gel. I did get the T/Sal but not the T/Gel so have alternated days with Nizoral and T/Sal. Does it help? I don't know but I think it moves the dead cells off the scalp making the area possibly more hospitable to new hairs.
