So I'm feeling kinda conflicted. I was thinking the theradome was helping me, then I got a haircut and it seems thin again. Then I read the last post about no real proof or evidence of it really working, so I'm feeling conflicted. I don't know if I'm imagining this thing working. I've been using it daily for over 70 days. Does anyone have any positive results/ photos?
I visited a LLLT center and they explained to me that I am supposed to use minoxidil before laser treatment then when I searched found many online pages that they also mentioned that minoxidil and laser work together very well. Do you guys just use theradome?
I have read similar studies regarding minoxidil, but still have no desire to use it. The hair loss forums have thousands of people who used minoxidil at some point in life. From what I've read it seems to work for a period of time and then for whatever reason the body becomes resistant and the hair falls out.
In my case I am mostly interested in keeping and regrowing the hair in the front. Minoxidil products all state that they do not work on the front (not sure why).
The laser clinic recommending minoxidil is probably doing so to produce the best looking before and after photos. I don't think it will be a long term solution for the customer.
I don't know. I think I see some hairline fuzz growing in there, don't you? That same kind of fuzz slowly is filling out my temples where my hairline had moved back a bit. It's a slow process but I think I'm seeing growth in those hairs. Will it grow into real hair? We'll see. So far to me this new hair is quite fine.
When I part my hair on top, I see a lot of new hairs coming in -- a lot. But are those just replacing hair I'm continuing to shed or are they in addition to those replacement hairs, who knows? This is just so tough to gauge.
I'm still waiting to see if the Theradome will get the hair at my temples and banges to grow longer than about 2" before it falls out and starts all over again. I used to have long swooping bangs and now they have decided to grow to about half an inch above my eyebrows and then fall out. A short bang look just doesn't work for me Oh, the indignity!
I do think your hair looks thicker. In that grouping of pictures from week 1 to now, it appears sto me that your hair is definitely thicker on the top of your head, towards the back.
