I have been using the theradome heltmet since February 21st 2014. It wasn't until March 1st that I had decided to use it every other day, becuase before that i was using it everyday and continue to see my hair become a lot thinner at a fast rate. I have not seen any changes, and my hair looks thinner now. Although I am experiencing DUPA(diffuse unpatterned alopecia). I have tried the big three and didn't get a shed which supposed to be a sign that the treatment is working. I discontinued using the big three 2 year ago and was on it for more than 6 months.(2012). I discontinued procecia as my sperm count was extremely low, and began falling into a mild depression, and read horrible stories from propecia victims. I then gave rogaine and rizoral another try, I had used the treatment for 1 year now from 2012 to 2013, and now rogaine stopped working for me. Since I began using rogaine 5%, it made me have unwanted hair growth near my nose area and forehead. Its embarrassing to attend spa sessions and have to go during day time for laser hair removal. I am hoping that Repicel Life Sciences comes out with a cure for 2015 and not 2-3 years down the road.

On the subject of improving rogaine effectiveness, here is a promising study on using micro needling in conjunction with rogaine: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3746236/. Not many conflicts of intreset here, just science.

Gosh, I have to tell you that I have never looked at a man's scalp with such intensity for such a long span.... I have to say that I do not see a difference in your hair. I wish I did- I wish like crazy.... I have been following you for these last months.... I finally started on romaine 5%

I agree Ada. At this point I expected to see something...anything really... but as of today I have not. At best I can say that I haven't lost much hair lately. Most other users seem to be in the same boat as me.

Well, I have a lot of new hairs but whether they're newly awakened follicles of just normal new growth, I have no clue.

Nice find. Those drugs are dangerous and I'm sure most doctors would not prescribe them for cosmetic purposes. I doubt many people would want to trade their immune system for more hair. Those who would make that trade aren't wise :)

Yes, but it's a start. I'm sure with this discovery, scientists will eventually isolate whatever it is that triggered his hair growth, while eliminating most of the negatives. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
