Wow is it ever tough to judge if there has been any regrowth in ur the frontal part, since you've started using the theradome. We can only take a guess really. And state our own opinion. But as for me using the theradome for 6 months, I also have a receding hairline in the front. And I have seen ZERO regrowth.

Hmm it is kind of hard to spot any major improvement but your hair is looking good and healthy so far and plus your scalp looks healthy

I used the helmet for 80+ treatments and was realizing that my hair had gotten significantly thinner since I started using it. That, coupled with the fact that I was seeing no regrowth, led me to quit using it about a month ago. This week I noticed that I have little hairs growing in various areas on the top of my scalp. I have no idea if this is an effect of going off the Theradome or if it's simply due to the diet and supplement changes that I've implemented in the last few months. Granted, I had started the diet and supplements while I was still using the Theradome and didn't see any difference, so I'm inclined to think that the Theradome was what was making my hair worse. Sadly there's no way to prove it, but anyway, I've given up on this and will continue to pursue natural methods.

Hi Tina, I believe you're seeing regrowth as you backed off treatments. Laser therapy is cumulative. Everyday use can slow or even inhibit results. I noticed too that the days I don't use it, I notice a new hair. The follicles are actually using the energy that was applied the day before. From what I read 48 hours minimum should be kept between treatments. I've posted wound studies before regarding this. The one study involved 5 J/cm2 and Theradome is at an even higher dose. How many times per week were you using Theradome? Anti-inflammatory will be complimentary as well.

Wow well that's pretty odd. That it would start regrowth after u stop using it. But I've done 93 treatments and have no regrowth of any kind. And scared it looks thinner. Mind me asking tins what supplements are you using? Thanks.

Maybe your getting overstimulation, I used to use mine everyday now I'm EOD and I think it's working, today I noticed new hairs near my hairline I've never seen these before only seemed to be working in my crown area till now , I'm on my 168 treatment though I think this is really a long term thing and you've got to keep up with it don't give up.

But Tammin used the Theradome every day and he was able to recover from mpb in less than a year.

I just received my Theradome 2 days ago. Despite multiple calls to customer service, it doesn't even turn on properly despite following their directions. From what I'm just now reading online, it's unclear if it will even work. I have autoimmune disease and the beginnings of androgenic alopecia. Thinning on sides and top. Have used Minoxidil for 3 years, which seems to have plateaued the hair loss but not reversed it at all. Individual hairs are definitely thinner than they used to be, I've definitely lost about 50% of my hair volume overall. I've already asked to return the unit immediately for refund and they are VERY unresponsive. Anyone else here having similar trouble? BTW, looks to me from your pics like the Theradome effect on you remains neutral - clearly it's not damaging anything, but I see no difference in your hair over the pic series. I'm starting to think this whole "Try it for a couple of years" attitude is a way to get max money out of us before they get run out of business for fraudulent claims.

Love these similar posts from the surrogates......hence directly CONDRADICTING what experienced theradome users have experienced when dealing with theradome customer service...rolling of the eyes!

I agree. Today, I did celebrate my 130th Theradome treatment. Still no noticeable results. The great thing about this blog is that it is a documented timeline that indisputably shows that the device doesn't work.

So now that you've claimed that the device does not work, will you continue using the theradome?

I have been using this since March about 2x per week. Am seeing some hairs beginning to come back on the receded frontal area. Progress unclear on the crown area at this time. I never really had a shedding problem, just thin fine hair with a gradual receding hairline and crown thinning. This is probably going to take a while to get meaningful results. However, I'm not giving up on this yet. I hope my Theradome holds up for the long haul. Hang in there!

I've been using theradome 2x week since march of this year, so about 7/8 months. I can't say for certain that its helped me dramatically either, I do notice that i see less scalp when looking in the mirror but haven't noticed any growth at the temples thus far which is what i was hoping for, if anything they have gotten worse..i can't say for sure. I'll keep using for a year to a year and half before I conclude anything for certain. I also think its a matter of expectations though, I've been losing my hair for almost ten years, it stands to reason that I shouldn't expect that I can reverse any substantial amount of that damage in less than a year which is why I'm sticking with it. Also, I think most people judge the efficacy of most hair loss treatments w/ how it affects their hairline which isn't necessarily an accurate indicator of hair growth elsewhere on the scalp since the temples are usually the first area affected by hair loss and so have been damaged the longest and so take longer to heal assuming the follicles there are not dead.

How sad. I / we had high hopes for this product. I am starting on Rogaine this week and your blog has inspired me to perhaps keep a blog.
